Dear Loyal Summit Gymnastics Families,

We hope this email finds you and your family in good health during these unprecedented times. It is surreal, walking through our quiet, empty gym that not long ago was filled with sounds of joyful chatter and laughter from smiling children. This is a scary time for us all.

Thank you for your support as we navigate COVID-19. We appreciate the messages of support and encouragement during these unprecedented times. The loyalty and love felt from our families is a reminder of why we love what we do. In a time of very difficult decisions, it is appreciated more than ever!

Pause in Operations:
We feel it is our community responsibility to help stop further spread of the virus. We announced earlier this week that Summit Gymnastics will remain closed until April 1s. At that point we will reevaluate our decision and communicate accordingly.

Our Promise
Through this pandemic, we are committed to taking care of as many of our devoted, loving coaches and staff as possible for as long as we can. We are also committed to weathering this storm to be here for you and your children when the dust settles. To whatever extent necessary, every dollar we have will be pledged to our recovery and rebuilding. At the moment, we are paying as much we can, to as many staff as we can, while still servicing building expenses, debt, and insurance payments. To come back strong (which means staying current with payments and retaining our wonderful coaches and staff) requires careful budgeting and you can help our cause significantly if you are in a position to do so. If we do remain closed after April 1st, we have outlined several tuition options that will greatly help our business survive.

#1 CONTINUE TO PAY FULL TUITION WITH NO STRINGS ATTACHED
Continue to pay your monthly tuition in full, because you are awesome and can forever feel good about helping to save our small business! In return, you will receive our eternal gratitude, plus a thank-you basket filled with Summit swag, coupons, and free passes to various Summit activities.

#2. REMAIN ENROLLED AND EARN 10%
110% Family Loyalty Credit (FLC). During our pause of operations, 110% of all tuition dollars your family pays (beginning April 1) will be held as a credit to your account in the form of a “Family Loyalty Credit” (FLC). Upon reopening, your loyalty will be rewarded by receiving free tuition (plus 10%) for as many weeks as we are closed. This will be applied as credit to your account and can be used spread evenly over the next 10 months.

EXAMPLE: Assume, our pause of operations continues through April and May with resumption of operations on June 1.

  • If your family’s tuition is $100/month your two month total is $200.
  • Add in an additional 10% ($20) brings your total FLC to $220.
  • The full $220 will be used evenly over the next 10 months once we resume operations.

One more thing: if the resumption of operations is anything other than the first of a month, all numbers will be pro-rated to that date.

Extra Thank You #2: You will also receive one FREE Pass per enrolled child per month of paused operations in your choice of:

  • Open gym (in gymnastics gym or Ninja Gym)
  • Kids Night Out
  • Tumbling Class

#3. TUITION RELIEF OPTION. Families who choose this option will only pay $15 per month per enrolled child and retain their class spots. When classes resume, families will receive $15 off monthly tuition per student for each month tuition relief was paid. EXAMPLE: Assume, our pause of operations continues through April and May with resumption of operations on June 1.

  • One Child Enrolled:
    • Your family pays a total of $30 ($15 in April and $15 in May).
    • You will receive $15 off your first two months tuition when we resume operations.
  • Two Children Enrolled:
    • Your family pays a total of $60 ($30 in April and $30 in May).
    • You will receive $30 off your first two months tuition when we resume operations. ($15 per month off 1st Child and $15 per month off 2nd child)

#4 Un-enroll. If you opt to unenroll we understand. Our procedure remains unchanged: simply email stating your desire to unenroll (our 2 week drop policy will still apply)

Please email summitgymnasticsinfo@gmail.com with your decision of option # 1, 2, 3 ,or 4 before April 1st. You may change your option at any time if your financial situation changes.

If you have any other creative ideas on how we can help each other during this time, please let us know. We are definitely open to suggestions, as this is uncharted territory for us!

We cannot thank you enough for your continued understanding and support. Keep watch in your email and on our Facebook page for fun exercise videos from our coaches. They are dedicated to the health and fitness of your children through this closure!

Thank you,
Summit Gymnastics
