Recreational Gymnastics

Children 5 & up enter our recreational program where they learn gymnastics in a fun, safe and positive environment.

Each class follows a specifically designed curriculum to increase strength, flexibility, and coordination
in a nurturing environment that fosters your child’s physical and mental growth.

These lessons learned in gymnastics stay with them throughout their entire life. 
Your child will walk away from class with self-discipline, respect and cool new skills!

Kinderbugs:

  • 5 year old Girls
  • 55 minutes one time per week
  • $90 a month 

Beginner  |  Girls:

  • 6 yrs & up
  • 55 minutes one class per week
  • $90 a month
  • Skills taught in this class include
    • Rolls, handstands, cartwheels, backbend kickovers on floor
    •  Pull-overs, back hip circles, glides, and casts on bars
    • Various movements on beam to gain confidence
    • Basic beginning mechanics on vault


Intermediate |  Girls:

  • 6 yrs & up
  • 1 hr 25 minutes one class per week (2 classes per week suggested)
  • Once a week is $119 a month/ twice a week is $226.10 a month
  • Skills taught in this class include
    • Back walk overs, limbers, round-offs, and beginning back handsprings on floor
    • Double back hip circles, glides, and squat-ons on bars
    • Handstands and cartwheels on beam
    • Handstand tree falls on vault


advanced  |  Girls:

  • 6 yrs & up
  • 1 hr 25 minutes one time per week (2 classes per week suggested)
  • Once a week is $119 a month/ twice a week is $226.10 a month
  • Skills taught in this class include
    • Round off back handsprings, back tucks, and front tucks on floor
    •  Glide kips & skill combinations on bars
    •  Cartwheels, walk overs, and dismounts on beam 
    • Front handspring vaults

Beginner Boys:

  • 5 yrs & up
  • 55 minutes one time per week
  • $90 a month
  • Skills taught in this class include
    • Rolls, handstands, cartwheels on floor
    •  Swings & spotted pull-overs on high bar and parallel bars
    • Swings and strength on rings
    • Beginning vault mechanincs


Intermediate |  Boys:

  • 6 yrs & up
  • 1 hr 25 minutes one class per week 
  • Once a week is $119 a month/ twice a week is $226.10 a month
  • Skills taught in this class include
    • Standing back handsprings and front handsprings on floor
    • Levers  and dismounts on rings
    •  Handstands & dismounts on parallel bars 
    • Handstand tree falls on vault


 

* Advancement into the next level requires the student to have achieved all the skills in their current level.  Although we have specific evaluation periods, movement can happen at any time.
